Drew Sidora, Angela Renee White (Blac Chyna), Erica Pinkett, and Alexis “Lexxy” Walker are among 12 starring in Maverick Entertainment’s upcoming film “Women of The Jury.”
The film, written by Walter T. Fredericks Jr. and directed by Mark K Buddington, aims to examine the justice system and the power of collective decision-making. The courtroom drama will stream on Peacock, exclusively beginning October 13th.
Women of The Jury centers twelve women who are called to serve on the jury of a man’s murder trial. He’s accused of murdering two young black men. After deliberation, one juror is convinced the man is not guilty, while the majority claims he is guilty. A conversation takes place consisting of arguments, alliances, and near violence. What will the verdict be?

Mark K. Buddington of United Millions described the film as a “present-day classic” and emphasized its focus on feminine perspectives. The jury of twelve women featured in the film will engage in discussions and debates about the emotional consequences of a life sentence, bringing forth a perspective that is not normally at the forefront of conversations about the criminal justice system.
