Did you know some of your favorite actors are actually twins. They’ve either starred alongside their identical/fraternal counterparts or did a body switch and portrayed one another in a role. Orrrr live a completely different life than their famous sibling.

Some you know like the Mowry twins (yes we included them) and others you may not — so take a look and let us know which actors you didn’t know were twin was the most surprising to learn.
Luna Lauren and Lorraine Velez
Luna and Lorraine are identical twins and both actresses. Luna Lauren’s credits include ‘New York Undercover,’ ‘Dexter,’ Spider-man animated franchise, and more. Her sister’s credits include ‘Law & Order,’ ‘Doctor Who,’ ‘Elementary,’ and Broadway shows.
Laverne Cox and M Lamar
Laverne’s identical twin M Lamar, is a composer and performer who starred in two episodes of the Netflix show Orange Is the New Black, portraying Laverne’s character pre-transition.
Amari and Amir O’Neil
These child actors have been pretty booked and busy, so much so Amir, whose credits include Marlon, Mann and Wife, and Madagascar: A Little Wild,’ has already portrayed his brother’s character for one episode in The Wonder Years.
Ashton Kutcher and Michael Kutcher
We’re not punking you about Michael Kutcher who is the fraternal twin brother of actor, Ashton Kutcher. Michael was born with cerebral palsy and underwent heart surgery when he was 13 years old. He lives in Iowa with his son and spends time advocateing for cerebral palsy-related causes with his organization Reaching for the Stars. And well you know Ashton.
Tasha and Sidra Smith
The Smith twins are in-front and behind the scene talents and both starred in the 1994 film Twin Sitters together. Tasha is best known for her work on camera in projects such as Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married and Empire. And Sidra directed produced the film A Luv Tale and created its series adaptation as well as produced other projects.
Rami and Sami Malek
Rami Malek has built quite the career from his Oscar-winning performance as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rapsody, No Time To Die and one of our favorite series Mr. Robot. But did you know he has a twin who didn’t quite opt the same route. Sami, who is 4-minutes younger, pursued a career in education but is heavily supportive of his famous twin’s career.
Judy and Joselin Reyes
Judy and Joselin are fraternal twins. Joselin has starred in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit while Judy is best known for roles such as Devious Maids and most recently Claws.
Vin and Paul Diesel
Did you know, the frontman for the Fast and Furious franchise, Vin Diesel has a twin brother named Paul. While Vin Diesel is best know working in front of the camera, his twin, Paul works in Hollywood as a film editor.
Malika and Khadijah Haqq
Okay, this may not be a shocker, especially if you either seen ATL or keep up with the Kardashians. But in case you don’t get to know the Haqq twins
Cynthia and Brittany Daniel
It’s not uncommon knowledge about the Daniel twins as they starred in the series Sweet Valley High as well as White Chicks but in case you forgot. Brittany’s most known after those projects for starring in The Game opposite another famous twin.
Tia and Tamera
Unless you are living under a rock (no shade to rocks) than you know Tia and Tamera, but just in case you didn’t know about the Mowry twins, we did include them in this list.
Aaron Ashmore and Shawn Ashmore
You may have seen either Aaron or Shawn in a movie not realizing they aren’t the same person. If you’re a fan of The Rookie than you are getting your full dose of Shawn and if you were a fan of Smallville or Warehouse 13, you were watching Aaron.
