AllBlks’ New Series Kold x Windy Sets Premiere Date [TRAILER]

WeTV and AllBlk released the premiere date and trailer of their new drill culture drama series Kold x Windy. From creators Kenny Young, Phil James, and Vernon “Xtreme” Brown, the weekly series premieres January 5th at 10pm ET on WE TV and that following Monday on AllBlk.

The eight episode series is led by Sh’Kia Augustin and Nijah Brenea. It also stars Brely Evans, Eian O’Brien, Fred Thomas Jr., Kaja Brielle, Kiyanne Muhammad, Kruz Valero, Chidozie Adindu, and more.

Kold x Windy follows rising hip-hop and drill star Malika aka Kold (Augustin), who is desperate to create a better life for her and her son in Chicago’s south side. Her trusted confidant and group member Renee aka Windy (Brenea) is a rapper with a strong dedication to the city streets.

As Malika’s career begins to ignite, her lifelong hustle – credit card fraud – catches up with her and rival drill artists see her as a threat. Faced with increasing pressure, she soon finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which path to choose.

However, Renee—who also dabbles in credit card fraud—disagrees with her bestie’s desire to change their image and will stop at nothing to prevent it. Will Malika be able to break free of her life of crime to achieve her music dreams and save her family?

Evans stars as GeGe, Thomas Jr. stars as Detective Caine, Brielle as Shelly Winter, Adindu portrays Drip, Muhammad portrays Temperance “Temper” Davis, and Brielle stars as Shelly Winter.

Solo Lucci, Markice Moore, Johnell Young, Elijahawon Perrin, Jazsmin Lewis, Amber Reign Smith, Denise Garcia, and Kristin Clark also star in the series.

Lauren Gellert, EVP of Development and Original Programming, David Stefanou, SVP of Original Programming and Development and Nikki Love, SVP of Production and Development (ALLBLK) serve as Executive Producers for WE tv.
