Blavity Inc. is set to enhance its streaming capabilities through a strategic partnership with “In The Black Network” (ITBN), as announced in a press release shared by Essence. The digital media platform, known for its focus on Black experiences, sees this collaboration as a pivotal moment in its mission to amplify Black voices.

With a diverse portfolio that includes properties like 21Ninety for Gen-Z, TravelNoire for travel enthusiasts, and the lifestyle and commerce brand Home + Texture, Blavity Inc. continues to evolve and expand its imprint. This new venture with ITBN, a streaming service dedicated to highlighting Black voices, signifies a significant turning point in their core mission.

James DuBose, CEO, and founder of ITBN expressed the groundbreaking nature of the partnership, stating, “Becoming the first official streaming partner of Blavity is a testament to our dedication to delivering exceptional, Black-focused content to audiences on a global scale.” The collaboration aims to open up new avenues for advertisers to connect with diverse audiences authentically, according to Orchid Richardson, the Senior Vice President of Digital at Blavity Inc.

The advertising partnership between Blavity Inc. and ITBN is expected to promote engagement with diverse audiences, leveraging the strengths of both platforms. This move is seen as a pioneering effort to promote Black content in the digital media landscape, creating opportunities for video-streaming advertising options.

Founded in 2014, Blavity Inc. has become a prominent player in the digital media space, with sister platforms collectively reaching over 250 million monthly consumers across various verticals. This collaboration with ITBN marks another milestone in Blavity’s journey, reinforcing its commitment to redefining the landscape of Black media and fostering meaningful engagement in the streaming realm.
