“The Equalizer” franchise first kicked off in 2014, based on the popular 1980s CBS series of the same name. The second film arrived in 2018, further solidifying its place as a fan-favorite action series. In 2021, CBS rebooted the original drama series with Queen Latifah taking on the lead role as Robyn McCall. As fans eagerly await the release of “The Equalizer 3,” they can also enjoy the ongoing fourth season of the rebooted series, set to premiere later this fall.
