Disaster Strikes: Fire Country Season 3 Teases Wedding Day Chaos [TEASER TRAILER]

CBS’s Fire Country is heating up once again with the release of the much-anticipated season 3 trailer. The action-packed drama returns on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 9 pm ET/PT, picking up from the explosive events of season 2. Co-creator Max Thieriot reprises his role as Bode Donovan, a young convict seeking redemption through a firefighting program in Northern California. As Bode grapples with his criminal past and a return to his hometown, season 3 promises more life-or-death situations, both on the fireline and in the characters’ personal lives.

The latest trailer teases a dramatic wedding-day disaster. Gabriela Perez (played by Stephanie Arcila) is seen preparing to marry Diego Moreno (Rafael de la Fuente) when chaos ensues after a helicopter crashes during the ceremony. The emergency brings the Fire Country team together once again to combat a massive new blaze, promising more thrilling rescues and tension-filled moments.

Watch the trailer below.

The core cast will return, including Jordan Calloway’s Jake Crawford, Jules Latimer’s Eve Edwards, Diane Farr as Sharon Leone, and Billy Burke as Vince Leone, with new faces joining like Jared Padalecki and Leven Rambin. Also Morena Baccarin returns for the third season as Mickey Fox, Sharon Leone’s stepsister, who runs the local sheriff’s department.

Padalecki, best known for his role in Supernatural  joins the cast as Camden, a Southern California firefighter with a laid-back demeanor who recognizes Bode’s raw talent. Padalecki’s appearance is set for a three-episode guest arc. Rambin will portray Audrey, a former fire camp inmate, in a recurring guest role.

Season 3 will dive deeper into Bode’s journey toward becoming a full-time firefighter after completing his prison sentence. Following the season 2 cliffhanger, where Gabriela and Bode share a passionate kiss, fans are eager to see how their relationship unfolds amidst Gabriela’s wedding drama.

Showrunner Napolitano also teased more large-scale disasters, including potential flood rescue operations, which could add a new dimension to the series. While Bode’s professional life seems to be on track, his personal life remains uncertain, especially with the unresolved tension between him and Gabriela.

The show, which found a fresh wave of viewers after debuting on Netflix in 2023, has drawn comparisons to Virgin River with its mix of small-town drama and intense firefighting action. With seasons 1 and 2 currently streaming on Paramount Plus in the US and the UK, fans eagerly await the continuation of the story in Fire Country season 3.
