Check out a first look at Netflix’s upcoming rom-com, The Perfect Find starring Gabrielle Union and Keith Powers. Gina Torres, Janet Hubert, La La Anthony, and Aisha Hinds also star in the project based on Tia Williams’ book of the same name.
After a messy public breakup and a high-profile firing, Jenna (Gabrielle Union) returns to New York to resurrect her fashion career. Knowing she’ll only get one chance to rebuild her reputation, Jenna swallows her pride and goes to work for cutthroat mogul Darcy (Gina Torres). But her comeback attempt gets complicated when she falls for her charming, much younger coworker Eric (Keith Powers) – who just so happens to be Darcy’s son. After putting everything on the line for her career, Jenna must decide if she’ll risk it all on a secret romance, and find out if she can have a future with Eric despite their generational divide.
Numa Perrier directed the romantic comedy based on the script Leigh Davenport penned. It will be released on Netflix, June 23rd.

La La stars as Elodie, Hinds as Billie, Hubert as Monica with Latoia Fitzgerald, Remy Ma, Diana Noris, Phoenix Noelle, and Ts Madison also starring in the feature. Perrier, who is directing, will also make an appearance as Pearl Bailey.

Stuart Ford’s AGC Studios will fully finance and produce the film alongside Union, who will produce under her I’ll Have Another shingle. Jeff Morrone, Tommy Oliver and Codie Elaine Oliver of Confluential Films will also produce. AGC’s Ford, Greg Shapiro and Glendon Palmer will executive produce, with I’ll Have Another’s Holly Shakoor Fleischer as co-producer.
