If you’ve been holding your breath for answers after From’s wild Season 3 finale… you might want to come up for air. The nightmare-fueled sci-fi horror series is officially coming back for Season 4, but don’t expect new episodes this year. According to TVLine, production is slated to begin this summer in Nova Scotia, which points to an early 2026 premiere.
Yep, we’re looking at a longer wait—but if history’s any indication, it’ll be worth every creepy, cryptic second.
What’s From Again?
If you’re new here, From isn’t your average spooky series. Created by John Griffin, the show throws a group of unsuspecting people into a mysterious small town with no way out. Literally. Every road leads you back to the same spot, and once the sun sets, nightmarish creatures crawl out of the forest and come for whoever’s not safely locked inside. It’s like Lost meets The Mist, with a whole lot of psychological twists in between.
And after three seasons, viewers are still piecing together what in the multiverse is actually going on.
Where Season 3 Left Us
Season 3 finally peeled back a few layers of the mystery—emphasis on few. We learned more about Tabitha’s strange connection to Miranda, got a glimpse into the immortality of the forest monsters (plot twist: they can be reborn using other townspeople), and Jade started unlocking memories that suggest he may not be as new to the town as we thought.
But the biggest shake-up? The Man in the Yellow Suit made his long-awaited debut and brutally killed Jim in one of the show’s most shocking moments yet. His arrival confirmed what fans have suspected all along: something—or someone—is pulling the strings, and the town’s horrors may be far more orchestrated than random.
Don’t Expect a 2025 Comeback
With production not kicking off until summer 2025, From Season 4 is pretty much locked in for a 2026 release. While executive producer Jeff Pinkner had been “wildly hopeful” for a 2025 return, creator John Griffin kept it real, saying early 2026 is much more likely—and based on their previous timelines, he’s probably right.
Each season has taken about five months to shoot, followed by a few months of post-production. So unless the team pulls off a miracle, we won’t be seeing Boyd, Tabitha, or the mysterious “Anghkooey” children until sometime next year.
A Cult Hit in the Making
From may not have the backing of Netflix or HBO, but that hasn’t stopped it from making major waves. The series launched with a Certified Fresh 96% on Rotten Tomatoes for Season 1, and Season 3 even scored a perfect 100% from critics. Sure, audience scores have dipped a bit (Season 3 holds a 71%), but the core fanbase? Loyal, loud, and constantly theorizing.
And with good reason. The show doesn’t hand-feed answers—it forces you to connect the dots, rewind the clues, and argue with your group chat about what it really all means.
More Seasons to Come?
According to Elizabeth Saunders (aka Donna), the creators always had a long game in mind—even if there isn’t a strict season count. “I don’t think there was an intention of, like, 10 seasons,” she told RadioTimes, “but I hope we’ll get at least a couple more out of it.”
We do too, because with each season, the mystery deepens. And let’s be real: we’re not ready to say goodbye to this town just yet.
From Season 4 begins filming in summer 2025. Until then, Seasons 1–3 are streaming on MGM+ (or the MGM+ channel on Amazon). If you haven’t started watching yet… what are you waiting for? Just don’t go into the woods.
