One of the most beloved children’s brands on YouTube is making the leap to Disney.

Disney has announced that the hit animated sing-along series Gracie’s Corner will officially join Disney+ and Disney Jr., bringing its educational music, vibrant animation, and culturally inclusive storytelling to an even wider audience.

Created by Dr. Javoris Hollingsworth, Dr. Arlene Gordon-Hollingsworth, and their daughter Graceyn “Gracie” Hollingsworth, Gracie’s Corner reimagines classic nursery rhymes while introducing original songs that encourage learning, movement, and positive social development. Fan-favorite tracks include “Good Morning Song,” “Veggie Dance,” and “Play Outside.”

Since launching, the series has become a global phenomenon, amassing more than 6.3 million YouTube subscribers and nearly 10 billion lifetime views. The brand has expanded beyond digital content with a HarperCollins book deal, a successful live touring production, Gracie’s Corner Live, and multiple award wins, including four NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Children’s Program and Outstanding Animated Series across 2025 and 2026.

Disney has acquired global streaming and linear rights to more than 120 shorts and 18 themed compilations from the series. The partnership also includes plans to develop brand-new original content with the Hollingsworth family.

“‘Gracie’s Corner’ reflects so much of what families already love about our preschool lineup — music, heart, playful learning and characters that kids want to engage with again and again,” said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television. “The series brings a vibrant, music-driven world that encourages kids to sing, dance and learn, and we’re proud to introduce it to even more young fans around the world on Disney+ and Disney Jr.”

For the Hollingsworth family, the partnership represents a milestone they never imagined when they first launched the series six years ago.

“When we started Gracie’s Corner six years ago, we never imagined this journey would lead to collaborating with Disney on original content, and we certainly never imagined seeing our work on Disney Jr. and Disney+,” said co-creators Dr. Arlene Gordon-Hollingsworth and Dr. Javoris Hollingsworth in a joint statement. “What began as our family’s passion for creating fun, educational content has grown beyond our wildest dreams.”

The series itself was born from a simple observation during the pandemic. While helping their children navigate educational videos online, Javoris noticed a lack of characters that reflected families like their own.

“Did you realize that none of the characters look like our children?” he asked his wife, Arlene.

Rather than accept the gap in representation, the couple decided to create the content they wanted their children—and others—to see.

That decision ultimately led to Gracie’s Corner, a series that has connected with millions of families through music, education, and representation.

“Seeing children and families sing, dance, learn and create lasting memories together through our music is the heart of our mission,” the Hollingsworths added. “We are honored to partner with Disney to continue bringing joyful stories to families around the world.”

Graceyn Hollingsworth, now 13 years old and the inspiration behind the series, said she was thrilled when she learned Disney would be part of the show’s next chapter.

“Disney, Disney. The one that makes all the princess movies and everything,” she recalled thinking. “It was really surprising.”

Gracie’s Corner officially premieres June 15 on Disney+ in the United States and select international markets with 68 shorts and seven themed compilations available at launch. The series will also debut the same day on Disney Jr. at 7 a.m. ET/PT and on Disney Jr. On Demand.

Additional shorts and compilations are expected to roll out globally throughout the remainder of 2026.

The addition of Gracie’s Corner further strengthens Disney’s preschool lineup, joining popular titles such as Bluey, Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and SuperKitties.

For a series created to ensure Black children could see themselves reflected in educational entertainment, landing on Disney’s global platforms marks a significant new chapter—one that will introduce Gracie’s joyful world to millions of new little dancers around the globe.
