Jesse Collins Entertainment Is Producing the Emmys for the Fourth Year in a Row

Jesse Collins Entertainment is locked in. The production company has officially signed on to produce the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards for NBC and Peacock, marking its fourth consecutive year at the helm of television’s biggest night.

The ceremony takes place Monday, September 14, live from the Peacock Theatre in downtown Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay return as executive producers. A host has not yet been announced.

This run is significant. Jesse Collins Entertainment has now produced the Emmys across all four networks under the current wheel deal — the 75th on Fox, the 76th on ABC, the 77th on CBS, and now the 78th on NBC — completing a full cycle before the deal expires after this installment.

Collins is the CEO and founder of Jesse Collins Entertainment. Harmon serves as president and Rouzan-Clay as senior vice president of specials. Beyond the Emmys, the company’s credits span the Grammys, the Super Bowl Halftime Show, the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the BET Awards, the Soul Train Awards, the American Music Awards, and BET Hip Hop Awards, among many others.

NBC’s EVP of Live Events and Specials Jen Neal said of the partnership: “In the year that we celebrate NBC’s 100th anniversary, we’re honored to be the home of the Emmy Awards and know we’re in great hands with Jesse and his team.”

Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego added: “Jesse, Dionne, and Jeannae have been strong partners in that effort over the past three years, and we’re excited to keep building together.”

Emmy nominations will be announced on Wednesday, July 8, streaming live at 8:30 a.m. PT on Emmys.com. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards, produced by Bob Bain Productions, will take place September 5 and 6 — one week before the main ceremony.
