A forthcoming documentary series titled “SPRINT” is poised to provide an in-depth exploration into the world of elite sprinters as they gear up for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Produced by the team behind the acclaimed Formula 1 documentary “Drive to Survive,” this new venture promises to offer a gritty, behind-the-scenes look at the grueling journey from the 2023 World Championships to the pinnacle of athletic competition.
Scheduled to premiere on July 2, just ahead of the Paris Olympics, “SPRINT” will follow the trajectories of renowned athletes including Sha’Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, and Shericka Jackson, among others, as they navigate the high-stakes world of professional sprinting.
With a focus on the mental and physical fortitude required to excel in a sport where success is measured in fractions of seconds, the series aims to shed light on the relentless dedication and sacrifices made by these athletes in their pursuit of glory.
Executive produced by industry veterans Paul Martin, James Gay-Rees, and Warren Smith of Box to Box Films, in collaboration with World Athletics and the Olympic Channel, “SPRINT” is set to offer a no-holds-barred glimpse into the competitive landscape of track and field.
Featuring six episodes, each running 45 minutes in length, the series will provide viewers with unprecedented access to the inner workings of the sprinting world, from training regimens to personal triumphs and setbacks.
