The CW network has officially announced the premiere dates for highly anticipated new seasons of two of its popular shows, “All American: Homecoming” and “61st Street.” Fans can mark their calendars for exciting returns to television drama and intrigue.
“All American: Homecoming” Season 3 is set to make its debut on Monday, July 8, at 9/8c. This series, a spin-off from the successful “All American” franchise, delves into the vibrant world of HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) at Bringston University, showcasing the journey of young tennis hopeful Simone, played by Geffri Maya, as she navigates life’s challenges and opportunities.
The full cast of “All American: Homecoming” includes Geffri Maya as Simone Hicks, Camille Hyde as Thea Mays, Sylvester Powell as JR Raymond, Mitchell Edwards as Cam Watkins, Netta Walker as Keisha McCalla, Rhoyle Ivy King as Nathaniel Hardin, and Martin Bobb-Semple as Lando Johnson (upgraded to series regular).

In addition to the exciting news about “All American: Homecoming,” fans of the original “All American” series can look forward to two additional episodes added to its ongoing sixth season.
The CW’s programming lineup continues to impress with the announcement of the Season 2 premiere date for “61st Street.” This gripping drama, led by Courtney B. Vance and Aunjanue Ellis, will return to screens beginning on Monday, July 22 at 9 pm.
61st Street tells the story of Moses Johnson (Tosin Cole), a promising Black high school athlete who is swept up into the infamously corrupt Chicago criminal justice system. Taken by the police as a supposed gang member, he finds himself in the eye of the storm as cops and prosecutors seek revenge for the death of an officer during a drug bust gone wrong.
Mark O’Brien, Holt McCallany, Andrene Ward-Hammond and Bentley Green also star.
The series comes from AMC Studios, 61st Street is executive produced by Moffat, Shanks, Michael B. Jordan and Outlier Society, Alana Mayo, Jeff Freilich and Hilary Salmon.
