Sophie Wilde Leads Coming-of-Age Netflix Drama Series Everything Now [TRAILER]

In the midst of 2023’s entertainment whirlwind, Sophie Wilde, renowned for her stellar performance in the horror sensation “Talk to Me,” is stepping into Netflix’s upcoming coming-of-age drama, “Everything Now.”

Originally known by the much more vulgar title of “The F**k It Bucket,” “Everything Now” is set to start streaming on Netflix on October 5, 2023.

Created by Ripley Parker, this comedy-drama television series follows teenager Mia Polanco, portrayed by Sophie Wilde, who decides to make up for her lengthy time in the hospital by creating a bucket list. The series is directed by a talented team comprising Dionne Edwards, Charlie Manton, Laura Steinel, and Alyssa McClelland.

Mia Polanco is a 17-year-old British girl who emerges from an extended hospital stay due to anorexia. Upon rejoining the world of sixth form, Mia realizes that her friends have been gaining new experiences and knowledge while she was recovering in the hospital. Determined to catch up and embrace life to the fullest, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery by crafting a bucket list.

The ensemble cast includes Lauryn Ajufo as Becca, Niamh McCormack as Alison, Stephen Fry as Dr. Nell, Kiran Krishnakumar as Jonah, Sephora Parish as Issy Huckin, Vivienne Acheampong as Viv, Alex Hassell as Rick, Sam Reuben as Alex, and more, each contributing to the vibrant tapestry of Mia’s world.

Behind the scenes, Andy Harries takes on the role of executive producer, collaborating with Sian McWilliams, Rob Bullock, and Ripley Parker to bring this engaging series to life. “Everything Now” Season 1 comprises eight episodes, all set to make their debut on the day of the premiere.
