Peacock has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming movie, “The Pass,” set to premiere on August 27th.

Directed by Bobby Huntley, the film follows Nina (Drew Sidora) and Maurice (Rob Riley), a married couple who experiment with a “hall pass,” granting each other one night of fidelity-free exploration. However, their pursuit of pleasure takes an unexpected twist, leading to a web of deception.

The movie, created by Todd Tucker, will feature Drew Sidora, Rob Riley, and Erica Peeples. Produced under T Tucker Productions and Kandi Koated Entertainment, the film’s casting, especially the inclusion of reality TV personality Kandi Burruss, adds an extra layer of excitement. Fans of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” got glimpses of the film’s making during the show’s 15th season.

Todd Tucker’s dedication to the project was shared on a recent episode of “Housewives.” He described it as a “passion” project, blending moments of confidence and uncertainty. The film’s impact even stretched to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” finale, featuring “The Pass” wrap party.

The trailer exudes elements of a romantic thriller as it unfolds its plot. The premise is straightforward: Nina, portrayed by Drew, confides in her friends about her lack of intimacy with her husband Maurice (Rob Riley). Upon hearing this, Nina’s friends propose the idea of her granting Maurice the eponymous “pass.” The friends question whether she’s open to embracing a more adventurous path.

Nina approaches Maurice, expressing that she holds no intention of being with another man. She frames the situation as an “early anniversary present” for him. However, chaos ensues rapidly as both Nina and Maurice progressively disregard the “rules” they initially set. The situation escalates to the extent that Nina’s friend humorously inquires whether she possesses a firearm.
