Netflix’s critically acclaimed series, Top Boy, will be returning to the streaming platform for its third and final season in September 7, 2023. The announcement was made with the release of a teaser asset for the upcoming season, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the final chapter.
Regular cast members Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson, Simbi Ajikawo, Jasmine Jobson, Saffron Hocking and Araloyin Oshunremi are set to return, along with new cast members Barry Keoghan and Brian Gleeson, who will be playing new characters named Jonny and Tadgh.

Episodes 1 to 4 will be directed by Myriam Raja, a former mentee in Top Boy’s S1 program, while Will Stefan Smith will return to direct the final two episodes. The show, which is created and written by Ronan Bennett, will be executive produced by the original creative team of Charles Steel and Alasdair Flind for Cowboy Films, Ronan Bennett for Easter Partisan, and Yann Demange.
The series will also be executive produced by multi-talented entertainer and producer Drake and his business partner Adel “Future” Nur for DreamCrew Entertainment, LeBron James, Maverick Carter, and Jamal Henderson for The SpringHill. Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson will also be serving as executive producers for the final season.
Top Boy season 2 was released on Netflix on 18th March 2022, and it quickly became number one in the UK. The finale of the season left fans with their jaws-dropping and wondering what would happen next. With the stakes higher than ever, the third season promises to be a final reckoning that will decide who can reign as Top Boy of Summerhouse. Watch the trailer below.
