Hit Comedy ‘Boarders’ Season 2 Sets Tubi Premiere Date [Trailer]

Get ready to dive back into the halls of St. Gilbert’s — the teens of Boarders are back and class is officially in session.

Following its drop on BBC in February, Tubi just announced that Boarders Season 2 will officially premiere April 17, 2025, with all episodes dropping the same day. That’s right — you can binge it in one sitting (no judgment here). And if you’ve been waiting to see what comes next after that jaw-dropping Season 1 finale, you’re in for a wild ride.

With a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the beloved teen drama doesn’t just talk the talk — it delivers. Season 2 picks up right where we left off, but things at St. Gilbert’s are getting even more complicated. The headmaster who originally brought our five main students into the elite boarding school is now out — suspended after a full-blown school rebellion. In his place? A new headmistress who’s made it clear she’s not here to play nice. In fact, she wants them out.

So the question becomes: how far will these students go to stay in a world that never truly welcomed them?

Returning to reprise their roles are Josh Tedeku as Jaheim, Jodie Campbell as Leah, Sekou Diaby as Toby, Myles Kamwendo as Omar, and Aruna Jalloh as Femi. Also back in the mix is series creator and lead writer Daniel Lawrence Taylor, who plays their mentor Gus. Familiar faces like Harry Gilby (Rupert), Tallulah Greive (Beatrix), Rosie Graham (Florence), Assa Kanouté (Abby), and Niky Wardley (Carol Watlington-Geese) will also return.

Season 2 promises even more drama, more heart, and more moments that’ll have you laughing, crying, and pausing to say, “Did they really just say that?”

Created by Daniel Lawrence Taylor, the series brings together a powerhouse team of writers including Yemi Oyefuwa, Jeffrey Aidoo, and Racheal Ofori. It’s directed by Joelle Mae David and Sarmad Masud, with Ali MacPhail returning as producer and Carleen Beadle-Larcombe as line producer. Music lovers, don’t worry — Mykaell Riley is also back as Musical Director.

The series is produced by Studio Lambert (part of All3Media), with executive producers Daniel Lawrence Taylor, Madeleine Sinclair, and Susan Hogg for Studio Lambert, and Nawfal Faizullah and Katherine Bond for the BBC.

So mark your calendars, set your group chats on fire, and get your snacks ready. Boarders is back — and this time, survival is the assignment.
