WOLF HUSTLE

Chinonye Chukwu is going to write, direct and produce the film adaptation of “Wolf Hustle,” which is Cin Fabré’s memoir and debut book. The project has been acquired by Apple after a multiple-studio bidding war for the rights to the book. “Wolf Hustle” is an unapologetic account of a young Black woman’s journey to success in the male-dominated world of Wall Street during the 1990s.

The project is being described as a mix of “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “The Big Short,” two popular films that delve into the excesses and corruption of the financial industry. However, “Wolf Hustle” is unique in its focus on the experiences of a Black woman in the industry, adding a new and important perspective to the genre.
