Following the release of his fifth album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” Diddy has unveiled a trailer for his upcoming film, “Off the Grid.”
The movie stars Ugandan model Eva Apio and is directed by Diddy himself with REVOLT Films. Off the Grid is inspired by his latest album and takes viewers on a romantic journey free from distractions.

“The Love Album: Off the Grid,” released in September, featured 27 tracks with collaborations from artists like The Weeknd, French Montana, 21 Savage, Teyana Taylor, Busta Rhymes, Justin Bieber, Ty Dolla $ign, Kehlani, Mary J. Blige, and more. The album achieved success on the Billboard charts, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, No. 4 on Billboard’s Independent Albums, and No. 5 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
Diddy also discussed the album’s purpose, describing it as “the Super Bowl of R&B” and aiming to unify the R&B community while distinguishing it from hip-hop. He highlighted the emotionally charged tribute track, “Kim Porter,” featuring Babyface and John Legend, as a personal message to his late partner. Diddy shared, “I need to pierce the heavens above to get this message to Kim, so she can come and visit me in my dreams.”
Diddy emphasized the significance of working with Eva Apio, who was chosen after an extensive audition process involving hundreds of candidates. He explained that the film extends the album’s soul, focusing on the stories, emotions, and experiences behind each song. The trailer offers a glimpse of the romantic whirlwind between the two main characters, featuring high-speed car chases, intimate moments, and undeniable chemistry.
The album, with its collaborations with top artists, has been described as more than just an R&B album but an “R&B movie about love.”
