Jenifer Lewis, Janelle James to Guest Star in 'Monsters at Work' Season Two [TRAILER]

Disney Branded Television is gearing up for the return of the Emmy-winning animated comedy series “Monsters at Work.” The series which is inspired by the Disney and Pixar franchise ‘Monsters, Inc’ centers on Mechanic Tylor Tuskmon (Ben Feldman), who has big dreams of working his way up the ranks to the Laugh Floor at Monsters Inc.

The second season is set to kick off with a special two-episode premiere on Friday, April 5, at 8:00 p.m. EDT on Disney Channel and Disney XD. Subsequent episodes will air on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. EDT on both channels, leading up to the streaming debut on Disney+ on Sunday, May 5.

Billy Crystal and John Goodman reprise their roles as the iconic film franchise duo Mike Wazowski and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan. The series regulars include Mindy Kaling as Val Little, Henry Winkler as Fritz, Lucas Neff as Duncan, and Alanna Ubach as Cutter.

Joining them as guest stars are Janelle James, Jenifer Lewis, Jennifer Coolidge, Rhys Darby, Ali Wong, Bowen Yang, Paula Pell, Danny Pudi, Cody Rigsby, Jimmy Tatro, Danny Trejo, Joe Lo Truglio, and Alan Tudyk. Aubrey Plaza, Nathan Fillion, and Bobby Moynihan will recur and reprise their season 1 roles.

The season unfolds with Tylor’s journey as a Jokester facing the ultimate test, and his friendship with Val pushed to the brink. Unexpected opportunities at rival energy company FearCo raise questions about Tylor’s loyalty among his co-workers at Monsters Inc. As the Laugh Floor partnership with Val hangs in the balance, Tylor must navigate the challenges and discover where he truly belongs.

In addition to the captivating storyline, “Monsters at Work” season two brings brand extensions, including a multiple-single soundtrack featuring two original songs from Walt Disney Records.
