Netflix has announced that its new half-hour dark comedy series, No Good Deed, will premiere on December 12. The show stars Lisa Kudrow, Ray Romano, Teyonah Parris, O-T Fagbenle, Linda Cardellini, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, and Luke Wilson.
From Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman, No Good Deed combines dark humor and suspense, centered on a Los Angeles couple navigating a real estate frenzy with a sinister twist. Netflix has released a trailer offering a glimpse into the series’ blend of comedy and intrigue.

The eight-episode series follows Lydia (Kudrow) and Paul (Romano), a couple selling their stunning 1920s Spanish-style villa in one of LA’s most desirable neighborhoods. As families compete to claim the house they believe will solve their problems, Lydia and Paul know the dark secrets lurking within its walls could turn dreams into nightmares. To escape their past, they must finally confront it. Watch the trailer below.
The ensemble cast also includes Anna Maria Horsford, Matt Rogers, Kate Moennig, Chloe East, Rory Scovel, Wyatt Aubrey, Kevin Alves, and Linda Lavin. Liz Feldman serves as creator, showrunner, director, and executive producer, alongside Silver Tree, who also directs and executive produces. Additional executive producers include Christie Smith, Jessica Elbaum, and Will Ferrell for Gloria Sanchez Productions.
Liz Feldman described her inspiration for the series as stemming from her pandemic-era obsession with real estate listings, saying, “I’m endlessly grateful to Netflix for continuing to allow me to turn my anxiety into entertainment.”
No Good Deed brings together a mix of laughs and tension, reminiscent of Feldman’s previous success, Dead to Me. Fans of dark comedy and unpredictable twists can catch the series when it debuts on Netflix next month.
