Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham, both acclaimed in their respective roles on Apple TV+, are set to executive produce the series alongside Tessa Coates, Brian Clisham, and Stephanie Kluft for Orit Entertainment; Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Irene Yeung for Double Dream; and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television.

Waddingham, known for her Emmy-winning role in “Ted Lasso,” expressed her enthusiasm for the project, while Spencer highlighted the rare opportunity to dive into her character, Debbie. Coates, a writer, performer, and stand-up, brings her energetic and exhilarating script to life in this exciting collaboration.

As the series marks Waddingham’s follow-up to “Ted Lasso,” the future of the Apple TV+ hit remains uncertain, with discussions about potential spinoffs or a return for a fourth season without the titular character.

With its star-studded cast and promising storyline, the untitled action-adventure series is poised to captivate audiences, adding another compelling project to Amazon’s growing portfolio of original content.
