In the series, Michael Fassbender plays Martian, a CIA operative forced to abandon his undercover identity and return to London Station. Reunited with an old flame, his loyalties and identity are tested in a high-stakes game of love, career, and survival. The series promises a rollercoaster of intrigue and suspense, with Martian’s story weaving together heart-stopping action and the nuances of a double life.

Alongside Fassbender, The Agency stars Jeffrey Wright as Henry, Martian’s mentor and the Director of Operations, and Richard Gere as Bosko, the London Station Chief with a storied past. Jodie Turner-Smith portrays Sami Zahir, a professor whose history with Martian brings added tension to the storyline. The series also features Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, with Hugh Bonneville guest-starring and recurring roles filled by David Harewood,  Kurt Egyiawan, Ray BLK. Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Reza Brojerd, Adam Nagaitis, Ambreen Razia, Bilal Hasna, Sabrina Wu and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor round out the series with regular and recurring roles.

The trailer teases an intense scene where Martian, seated in a dim interrogation room, faces questions about his commitment to his mission. He reflects on the toll of living undercover, saying, “Lie to everyone, pretend to be someone you’re not, risk your life on a daily basis… No glamour, no exploding watch,” as shots of fights, close calls, and quiet moments flicker across the screen.

The drama escalates as Bosko, played by Gere, issues a directive to retrieve Martian: “We lost an agent. You find him. Bring him back. Whatever it takes, make it invisible.” In another flash, Sami confronts Martian, exclaiming, “I never thought I would see you again. You just vanished!”

Under the direction of Joe Wright for the first two episodes and executive production by an impressive team that includes Michael Fassbender, George Clooney, and Grant Heslov, The Agency is set to pull audiences deep into the high-risk world of international espionage. For those who crave a thriller packed with tension, grit, and complex characters, mark your calendars for Friday, November 29.
