The ‘Creed’ Universe Expands With New Prime Video Series ‘Delphi’

The gloves are officially off and the Creed-verse is just getting started.

Amazon Prime Video has greenlit Delphi, a brand-new drama series set inside the iconic boxing gym featured in the Rocky and Creed films. The series comes from Creed star and filmmaker Michael B. Jordan, who’s executive producing through his Outlier Society banner, alongside showrunner Marco Ramirez (La Máquina, Daredevil).

Delphi will center around the next generation of fighters coming up through the ranks at Delphi Boxing Academy—the Los Angeles-based gym originally helmed by Apollo Creed’s legendary trainer, Tony “Duke” Evers. Now, under the leadership of his son, Tony “Little Duke” Evers (played by Wood Harris in the Creed films), Delphi is once again brimming with heart, hustle, and hungry contenders. While plot specifics are still under wraps, the series promises to dig deeper into the personal journeys and rivalries of these young boxers—balancing blood, sweat, and dreams inside and outside the ring.

The announcement was made during Amazon’s 2025 Upfronts at New York’s Beacon Theatre, where the streamer showcased its latest programming slate. This move continues Prime Video’s expansion into prestige IP-based storytelling, following recent orders like Barbershop, Elle (the Legally Blonde prequel), and a Tomb Raider drama.

Delphi marks another major step in Jordan’s vision to build out the Creed universe across mediums, a goal he first teased during the Creed III premiere back in 2023. With Outlier Society already developing additional projects—including an anime and other live-action entries—Delphi is the official start of that ambitious expansion.

In addition to Jordan and Ramirez, the series is executive produced by Liz Raposo for Outlier Society, along with Irwin Winkler, David Winkler, and Charles Winkler for Winkler Films. Outlier Society holds a first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios, and is also behind upcoming series Fourth Wing and The Greatest, which will explore the life of Muhammad Ali.

There’s no word yet on whether familiar faces from the Creed films—like Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, or even Jordan himself—will appear in the series. But given the gym’s deep ties to the film’s main characters, don’t be surprised if a few cameos land a punch.

Through three films, the Creed franchise has grossed more than $660 million at the global box office and reinvigorated the legacy of Rocky with a fresh, emotional edge. Now, with Delphi, the story continues—this time with the focus on the fighters stepping up next.

Stay tuned for casting announcements and a release date.
