50 Cent's Diddy Docuseries Heads to Netflix After Intense Bidding War

The poster going around the internet might be fake but the documentary is very real and it is clear 50 Cent is not letting up on Diddy.

The G-Unit mogul’s upcoming docuseries of Diddy — real name is Sean Combs — is rumored to be titled, ‘Diddy Do It?,’ and has secured a home at Netflix after a fierce bidding war. This documentary has been in the works for a while with 50 Cent teasing the project in December of 2023. A rep for 50 Cent and G-Unit Film and Television confirmed the program was in production and all profits would go towards victims of sexual abuse and rape. While the documentary is real, we can’t confirm the title or poster that is being pushed across the web is in connection with the series.

TMZ broke the news on Tuesday (May 21), revealing that the series will be a multi-part documentary delving into the numerous allegations of sexual assault, rape, human trafficking, and abuse against the Bad Boy Records founder.

The news that Netflix snagged the docuseries comes right as another lawsuit hits Diddy. According to TMZ, former model Crystal McKinney claims the music mogul drugged and sexually assaulted her two decades ago. She also alleges that after the incident, Diddy blackballed her from the modeling industry, pushing her to a suicide attempt the following year.

The allegations against Diddy are numerous and severe. The most high-profile case came from his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in November 2023. She accused him of rape, sex trafficking, and physical abuse, and even claimed Diddy blew up a car belonging to her then-boyfriend, Kid Cudi. Although Cassie and Diddy reached an undisclosed settlement shortly after, more victims have since stepped forward with similar stories.

In February 2024, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy. By March, Homeland Security agents raided Diddy’s properties in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, seizing multiple electronic devices.

April brought more trouble as Diddy was named in a case against his son, Christian Combs, accused of sexually assaulting a former employee, Grace O’Marcaigh. Diddy allegedly helped his son and paid to cover up the assault.

Diddy’s reputation and business empire have taken significant hits. Starting in November 2023, his clothing brand, Sean John, was pulled from Macy’s and online stores. His e-commerce venture, Empower Global, lost several business partnerships, and Hulu reportedly canceled a reality series about his family. He also stepped down as chairman of Revolt TV. His downfall seemed inevitable when CNN released CCTV footage showing him assaulting Cassie Ventura at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles in March 2016.

“Diddy Do It?” is still in production, with no confirmed release date yet. As the investigation continues and more allegations come to light, 50 Cent’s team at G-Unit Film & Television will be working hard to incorporate all the details into this highly anticipated docuseries. Stay tuned for more updates.
