Amazon MGM Studios has confirmed the release date and new title for Zoë Kravitz’s upcoming feature directorial debut. The suspense thriller, originally named “Pussy Island,” will now be known as “Blink Twice” and is scheduled to hit theaters globally on August 23.

In an earlier statement, Kravitz explained the significance of the original title, stating, “The title came from that world. The title is the seed of the story, representing this time where it would be acceptable for a group of men to call a place that, and the illusion that we’re out of that time now.” Despite the thematic importance, the film has opted for a more family-friendly title to appeal to a broader audience.
