Amazon MGM Studios has recently dropped the trailer for the upcoming remake of the 1989 classic “Road House.” Set to premiere on Prime Video on March 21, the film is directed by Doug Liman and features a diverse cast of actors and fighters led by Jake Gyllenhaal.
The screenplay for the adrenaline-fueled reimagining is crafted by Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry, with notable producers including Joel Silver, JJ Hook, Alison Winter, Aaron Auch, and executive producer Audie Attar.

Jake Gyllenhaal takes on the role of Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter turned bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, uncovering unexpected challenges in what initially appears to be a paradise. The film also stars Jessica Williams, Daniela Melchior, Billy Magnussen, Catfish Jean, Kevin Carroll, Joaquim de Almeida, Conor McGregor, Lukas Gage, Arturo Castro, B.K. Cannon, Beau Knapp, Darren Barnet, Dominique Columbus, Bob Menery, Travis Van Winkle, Hannah Lanier, and Gbemisola Ikumelo.
The official synopsis teases, “In this adrenaline-fueled reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.”
