Yvette Nicole Brown, Ayesha Harris, Page Kennedy, and Cameron Fuller are starring in the upcoming paramedic action-comedy Code 3 from Wayfarer Studios and Circle of Confusion. They all join a cast led by Lil Rel Howery, Rainn Wilson, and Aimee Carrero. Howery and Wilson are also executive producing.
Code 3 follows follows a day-in-the-life of two overworked, underpaid and nearly burnt-out paramedics (Howery, Wilson). One EMT is so burnt-out by the job that he is forcing himself to resign, though he first must embark on one last 24-hour shift to train his replacement. Everything that could happen on the job, from the mundane to the extreme, then happens on this final, exhilarating day.
Christopher Leone is directing the action comedy based on a script was penned by former paramedic Patrick Pianezza and Leone. Code 3 is currently in production.

Carrero will portray Jessica, a newbie paramedic who is eager to learn is well-trained, and is superb under pressure. In the 24-hour shift where she’s training to replace Randy (Wilson), she’s in for an incredible day of surprises and realizations.
Brown will play the role of Shanice, an experienced EMS supervisor who has a colorful past with Randy (Wilson). Despite his jaded and burnt-out nature, Shanice recognizes that Randy is the best paramedic they have and respects him for it.
Harris will play Kim, a paramedic who, from time to time, works with Randy (Wilson) and Mike (Howery).
Kennedy will play Officer Tagert, a police officer who frequently crosses paths with Randy and Mike, played by Howery, during various calls. Tagert knows the system well and prefers that any victim goes to the hospital, so the paramedics have to deal with the paperwork, not him. However, Tagert doesn’t mind helping them out when he can.
Fuller will play Jimmy, a firefighter who often works with Randy and Mike. He’s an easy guy to work with and doesn’t question requests that come his way.

Wayfarer Studios’ Angela Cardon will oversee the project and serve as the sole financier, with Justin Baldoni and Andrew Calof producing for Wayfarer. Lawrence Mattis of Circle of Confusion, Matt Smith of Electro Corduroy Entertainment, and Paul “Pizza” Pianezza of Realdream are also producing. Wilson, Howery, Steve Sarowitz for Wayfarer, and Michael D. Jones for Silver Hearts Productions will executive produce, while Megan Herring will co-produce for Circle of Confusion.
Code 3 promises to be a thrilling ride, showcasing a day in the life of two paramedics as they face everything from the mundane to the extreme. With an all-star cast and talented crew, the movie is sure to be a must-see for fans of the buddy action-comedy genre.
