Krys Marshall to Star Opposite Sterling K. Brown in Dan Fogelman's Upcoming Series

Dan Fogelman’s upcoming series led by Sterling K. Brown and shrouded in secrecy, has added Krys Marshall, James Marsden and Nicole Brydon Bloom. Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Gerald McRaney, Charlie Evans, and Jon Beavers round out the cast.

Bloom, Marsden, Nicholson, and Shahi are set to take on series regular roles while Marshall, Evans, and Beavers will make recurring appearances.

While the exact premise of the series remains veiled in secrecy, insiders hint at a plot revolving around the President (Marsden) and his Secret Service detail, led by Brown. Fogelman’s speculative script, discreetly pitched to senior executives at 20th Television and Hulu, successfully secured a green light for the production.

Marshall assumes the role of Agent Robinson, a prominent Secret Service agent and a professional rival to Sterling K. Brown’s character. McRaney is set to portray Kane, the influential father of President Marsden, described as a captain of industry and kingmaker.

Bloom steps into the character of Jane, a young Secret Service agent looking up to Brown’s character as a mentor and father figure. Beavers takes on the role of Billy, another member of the President’s detail and a close friend to Sterling K. Brown’s character.

Evans is poised to play Jeremy, the President’s son, whose thoughts and dreams diverge from his father’s political career. Nicholson embodies a political force behind the scenes, while Shahi assumes the role of a therapist harboring secrets of her own.

Produced by 20th Television, the series boasts an impressive lineup of executive producers, including Fogelman, Sterling K. Brown, Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, and Steve Beers. Notably, this project marks a reunion for Fogelman and Hoberg, who previously collaborated on ABC cult favorites Galavant and The Neighbors.

This untitled series stands as Fogelman’s second project under his executive production deal with Hulu, following the success of “Only Murders in the Building.” Simultaneously, Sterling K. Brown is gearing up to star in the upcoming Hulu limited series, “Washington Black,” also produced by 20th Television, showcasing the dynamic partnership between the creators and the streaming giant. As anticipation builds, fans are eager to witness the unraveling of this mysterious and intriguing presidential drama.
