Wayne Brady (The Good Fight) and Courtnee Carter (Anything’s Possible) have been cast in the upcoming addiction drama “The Prince,” directed by Cameron Van Hoy. They will star alongside Giancarlo Esposito, J.K. Simmons, Nicolas Cage, Andy Garcia, and Scott Haze. This David Mamet-scripted film is rumored to be partly inspired by the experiences of Hunter Biden.
In addition to Brady and Carter, the cast now includes Simon Rex (Red Rocket), Inanna Sarkis (After series), George Newbern (Father of the Bride films), Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Vacation series), and Paul Cassell (Just Like Heaven).
“The Prince” tells the outrageous story of Parker Scott (played by Haze), a drug-fueled power broker in a world where pleasure is king and excess knows no bounds. While most plot details remain under wraps, the film promises a gripping narrative of power, pleasure, and the quest for redemption.

The production team features Sean Wolfington (Sound of Freedom), Haze, Van Hoy (Flinch), Jo Henriquez (Missing), and Lije Sarki (The Peanut Butter Falcon), with John Devaney, CJ Kirvan, and Jose Luiz Zapata serving as executive producers.
“The Prince” delves into the tumultuous journey of an addict navigating the perilous world of power, pleasure, and pain, ultimately seeking redemption and recovery. According to Deadline, multiple sources close to the project suggest that Parker Scott’s character is inspired by Hunter Biden’s well-documented struggles with addiction.
