‘Wicked’ Sets Streaming Premiere Date on Peacock—With Bonus Content Included in Release

Something Wicked this way comes… and it’s landing on Peacock sooner than you think. The hit musical adaptation will begin streaming March 21, bringing the magic of Oz straight to your screens.

But that’s not all—viewers will also get access to a special sing-along version and a collection of behind-the-scenes content, making this release a true treat for Wicked fans.

Directed by Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights), Wicked soared at the global box office, raking in over $727 million worldwide. The film, adapted from the beloved Broadway musical, serves as a prequel to The Wizard of Oz, telling the untold story of Elphaba, the green-skinned outcast destined to become the Wicked Witch of the West.
