Senegalese-born Italian influencer Khaby Lame, renowned as the most-followed content creator on TikTok with 162 million followers, is gearing up for his feature film debut in an upcoming English-language spy comedy titled “00Khaby.” The film, set to take audiences on a globetrotting adventure, will follow Lame’s character, a food delivery rider from JustEat, as he unwittingly becomes entangled in CIA operations.
The action-comedy, set in various exotic locations such as Italy, the U.S., Monte Carlo, Dubai, and France’s Côte d’Azur, revolves around Lame’s character being recruited by the CIA as bait to deceive enemy secret services after encountering a dissident scientist. As he navigates through arms traffickers, steals DNA samples, and contends with personal relationships, the clumsy secret agent must use a mix of cunning, luck, and unshakeable optimism to prevent World War III.

Produced by Marco Belardi, known for his success with the hit concept dramedy “Perfect Strangers,” the screenplay for “00Khaby” is being crafted by Italian writers Nicola Guaglianone and Roberto Marchionni. Belardi, along with Lame, is currently in Los Angeles seeking to assemble an international production team, with talks underway with a prominent international director.
While Lame is set to make a visible appearance at the upcoming Super Bowl as part of a marketing campaign, he is also committed to honing his acting skills and improving his English in preparation for the film. Expressing his dedication to the craft, Lame stated, “Acting has always been my dream, but I don’t want to improvise.” He added that he is undergoing rigorous physical training to perform his own action scenes.
Beyond his film endeavors, Lame teased a meeting with a respected Hollywood star, rumored to be Will Smith, who reportedly has booked Lame for a cameo in an upcoming film. The 23-year-old influencer, formerly a factory worker, rose to fame on TikTok during the pandemic with his universally relatable and absurdly comic skits, marked by facial expressions and body language.
Lame’s venture into the film industry comes after his role as a juror on “Italia’s Got Talent” and collaborations with the video game “Fortnite” and fashion brand Hugo Boss.
