Marvel’s android universe is about to expand. British actress T’Nia Miller, best known for her roles in The Haunting of Bly Manor and The Fall of the House of Usher, has officially joined the cast of Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series, Vision. Åccording to Deadline, she’s set to play one of the leads opposite Paul Bettany, who returns as the titular synthezoid following the events of WandaVision.
Miller will portray Jocasta, a cunning and powerful figure driven by revenge. In the comics, Jocasta was created by Ultron to be his bride but ultimately sides with the Avengers, adding a compelling layer of complexity to her character in the series.
Vision marks Marvel’s second spinoff from WandaVision after Agatha All Along and is set to dive deeper into the android’s quest to reclaim his memory and humanity. The show is helmed by Star Trek: Picard executive producer Terry Matalas, joined by a writing team of Chris Monfette, Cindy Appel, Matt Okumura, and Star Trek veteran Michael Taylor.
Miller joins an ensemble cast that includes James Spader returning as the voice of Ultron, Todd Stashwick as an assassin with eyes on Vision’s technology, Ruaridh Mollica in an undisclosed role—rumored to be an older version of Tommy Maximoff—and Faran Tahir reprising his role as Raza from the original Iron Man.
Paul Bettany, who debuted as Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron and has since appeared in Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and WandaVision, leads the project.
While Marvel hasn’t officially commented on the casting, fans are buzzing about Miller’s addition to the MCU. Her acting chops, paired with Jocasta’s fascinating backstory—rife with betrayal, self-discovery, and rebellion—could offer a thrilling new chapter in the franchise.
This casting also signals Marvel’s continued investment in building out its next generation of heroes. With Ms. Marvel and Kate Bishop eyeing Young Avengers territory and Wonder Man rumored to debut soon, Vision could lay the groundwork for yet another formidable team.
